DETAILS: Location: Effingham, South Carolina; Design: Independent, correlational; Sample: 17 students in 5th grade; Duration: 11 weeks.

RESULTS: Reading attitudes of unmotivated, uninterested 5th-grade students improved after using Accelerated Reader for 11 weeks.
