Abstract:

This paper demonstrates how to calculate and utilize sensitivity, specificity, LR+, and LR- statistics with Star Reading to measure annual skill acquisition and predict performance on Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA). These calculations can be utilized when making data-informed decisions about students.
